What made you realize tattooing would be a good career for you?
I have always been able to draw and paint, I realized that I wanted to be a tattoo artist after being in the Navy and getting work done myself.

How did your journey of a tattoo artist begin?
Hanging around the shops and making friends with the artists just pushed me in that direction even more. Once out of the Navy I messed around doing work out of the house, messing up people and their artwork. I eanted to learn properly so I found an apprenticeship and worked for free for 7+ months to learn this trade.

Who do you look up to as role model?
I have many role models for various styles of art, some being Sergey Shanko, Daria Piorjenko, Reese Hillburn, Vetoe, Karlee Sabrina and many more.

Do you see yourself tattooing for the rest of your lífe?
I see myself tattooing for the rest of my life but there are other avenues of art that I would like to try my hand at, but tattoing is my passion and way of life.

What made you realize tattooing would be a good career for you?
I found that I could make money doing something with my art instead of wasting away in a factory.

How did your journey of a tattoo artist begin?
An old friend who was a tattoo artist offered me an apprenticeship.

Who do you look up to as role model?
The people I look up to are not actually tattoo artists, it’s comic book artists such as Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, Jim Lee, Erik Larsen and Fiona Staples to name a few.

Do you see yourself tattooing for the rest of your lífe?
I do not see myself tattooing the rest of my life. I am involved in many forms of art and would like to experience those on a deeper level at some point.

What made you realize tattooing would be a good career for you?
Tattoing is a good career for me because I get to make art every day. It's also great because I will never stop learning and it's challenging. I enjoy making a design that is going to be a part of someone. I also love fitting the design to each individual's body. Collaborating with others to make their ideas come to life is may favorite part.

How did your journey of a tattoo artist begin?
I started tattooing by chance. It had been something I was seriouisly interested in but I wasn't sure how to get into it. One day, I decided to join a local Dungeons and Dragons group. I went to a few sessions and later learned that the person who ran it also owned a tattoo shop. I saw they were looking for an apprentice and I decided to take a chance and show them my art work. I was accepted and here I am today.

Who do you look up to as role model?
Artists I look up to include Jenny Norte, Teresa Sharpe, Kyla Evans and Kike Esteras.

Do you see yourself tattooing for the rest of your lífe?
I've only just started tattooing so it's hard to imagine how long I'll be at this. I hope I can tattoo for a long time. I don't know if I will do it for my entire life because my back might give up before I do.

What made you realize tattooing would be a good career for you?
Becoming a tattoo artist? I had never thought about it.

How did your journey of a tattoo artist begin?
A friend of mine planted the idea in my head, soon after I stumbled upon the opportunity to apprentice. Being a studio art major, I took the opportunity to learn a new art form.

Who do you look up to as role model?
My role model is my aunt, Kimberly Erikson. Kim is one of the most resilient and hard working people I know. She always supports me and pushes me towards my dreams. I am inspired by many different artists including Max V.K., Lucas Milk, and Nate Feuerstein.

Do you see yourself tattooing for the rest of your lífe?
Being as young as I am, I think that this industry has the potential to keep be me busy for a lifetime. For now, I plan to learn and grow with the tattoo industry for years to come.

What made you realize tattooing would be a good career for you?
The passion for drawing, I wanted to experience something new that is not the classic canvas or cardboard. The satisfaction that someone likes my art and wants to carry it on their skin is incredible.

How did your journey of a tattoo artist begin?
The motivation of a friend in Miami. When he saw my drawings he told me that I had to make him a tattoo and asked me to accompany him to a Tattoo Shop for the first time. Through him I bought my first tattoo machine and two or three things I needed. That's where it all started.

Who do you look up to as role model?
Jason Ramos (Colombia), Raquel Escudero (Spain), Sthefano Ribero (Brazil), Silvio Vukadin (Russia).

Do you see yourself tattooing for the rest of your lífe?
Definitely. If there is another life after this one, I would continue to tattoo in that one too.

FAQs

How do I set up an appointment?

Coming into the shop and speaking to one of our artists is the best way to accomplish this. By going this route they can get a better idea of your ideas, give you a quote, take a deposit and schedule the appointment at the same time.

Do you do piercings?

No we do not. We focus solely on tattooing.

How much is the shop minimum?

Our basic shop miniumum is $100.

How much is it going to cost?

There are many factors involved in pricing. Size, placement, amount of detail, color VS. black and gray, line work only, lettering, amount of time, all of these things play a role in the overall cost of the tattoo. Each of our artists price differently.

Do I have to put down a deposit?

Yes, you will need to put down a non-refundable deposit of $40 to set up an appointment which goes towards the price of the tattoo.

Should I tip my artist?

Tipping is really a nice gesture and the staff truly appreciates it.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, depending on the artist's schedules and if they have availability or not.

Do you tattoo minors?

We do not tattoo minors under any circumstance.

Aftercare

Approximate healing time

Two to four weeks.

Supplies Needed

Fragrance free, Dye free mild skin lotion.

Fragrance free antibacterial soap.

Aftercare instructions:

Keep your new tattoo bandaged for approximately 1 hour. Then, carefully remove the bandage and gently wash the entire area with your mild soap and cool water. Do not scrub it or use a washcloth. Do not re-bandage the tattoo.

Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel and then apply a thin layer of non-scented lotion.

Do this 3 times per day for 2-3 weeks or until your tattoo has finished healing

Additional Considerations:

Avoid direct sunlight and submerging your new tattoo in water(hot tubs, swimming, baths...) for at least 2 weeks or until your new tattoo has healed. In the event that mild scabbing occurs, do not pick at or attempt to "wash off" the scab. Allow it to come off by itself. In addition, you should seek medical attention if the tattoo site becomes infected or painful, or if you develop a fever shortly after being tattooed. If you have questions or concerns feel free to contact us!
